Post-Concussion Smartphone App

You’re Invited to Participate in Our Research Study: Personalized Dynamic Assessment of Post-Concussion Symptoms

Help us test a method for measuring symptoms after concussion. This study will use a smartphone app to record your symptoms as you go about your day. We are conducting this research to see whether real-time symptom assessment may be used in future studies to improve treatment of concussion.

Who is eligible to participate in this study?

Individuals ages 15-35 who have recently sustained a concussion.

What to expect?

If you participate in this study, you will be provided with an iPod Touch loaded with an app that allows you to report your symptoms. Notifications will prompt you to report your symptoms five times per day for about three weeks. We will then ask you to tell us about your experiences using the app. You will also complete a series of cognitive tests and questionnaires on two occasions. These visits will take about one hour to complete.

Will I be paid?

Yes. Participants will be paid a total of $65 for completing the study.
